To mark the end of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we want to share a testimony from a Leads employer about her experience working with people with disabilities:
"Working with people with disabilities reflects a more inclusive, compassionate, and just society. It benefits not only the individuals with disabilities but also the community. Our firsthand experience of watching employees experience personal growth as they build relationships with other employees and with the general public is rewarding as the employer. Fostering an inclusive work environment provides opportunities for everyone to learn from the skills and abilities of others, and to express and experience empathy, and to acknowledge the importance of all contributions of all members on a team."
